About CCDC

The Childcare Coalition of Dodge City (CCDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing childcare capacity across Ford County.

Through partnerships, education, and strategic investment, CCDC works to ensure families have access to quality childcare and providers have the tools they need to succeed.

Why it Matters

Why it Matters

Childcare is essential to a strong and growing community.

Access to reliable childcare:

  • Allows parents to enter and remain in the workforce
  • Supports local businesses and economic growth
  • Prepares children for long term success

In Ford County, childcare is not just a family issue. It is a workforce and economic development priority.

Our Work

Our Work

CCDC focuses on solutions that create lasting impact, including:

  • Supporting new and existing childcare providers
  • Offering free “How to Become a Childcare Provider” classes
  • Providing one on one technical assistance
  • Leading the development of the Full Circle Childcare Center
  • Hosting provider appreciation and networking events
  • Connecting families, providers, and community resources
Workforce Impact

Workforce Impact

Childcare is a critical component of workforce development in Ford County. Without access to childcare:

  • Parents are unable to fully participate in the workforce
  • Employers face staffing challenges
  • Economic growth is limited

By expanding childcare options, CCDC helps increase workforce participation, support local employers, and strengthen long term economic stability.
